●  1985 – 1989: B.E. in Civil Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China.

Research Description

·         Dr. XU is Professor and expert group member of National Survey and Design Registered Engineer Public Equipment Professional Management Committee, International Water Association and Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management (UK). The Research Directions of Dr. XU mainly include: Refractory Organic Industry Wastewater Treatment, Sustainable Wastewater and Waste Disposal Technology, Water Pollution Control Theory Research and Engineering Practice. She also has participated in Major Water Special Projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology (China) and the Toilet Revolution R&D project funded by the Bill Gates Foundation (in UK and Asia). Dr. XU also completed dozens of general contracting projects with companies for the treatment of high-salt and high -concentration industrial wastewater which is difficult to be degradable.
